KC Becker

KC Becker has served two terms as a representative for House District 13, which includes Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Grand, and Jackson Counties. She focuses her legislative efforts in the areas of public health and environment. She serves on the Finance, Capital Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Judiciary Committees. Prior to serving in the Legislature, she served a 4-year term on the City Council of Boulder, Colorado. She served as Boulder's representative to the Denver Regional Council of Governments and to the city's Board of Urban Renewal, and spent 2 years on the city's Planning Board. 

KC recieved a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development from the University of Denver in 2005 and worked in the private sector before the Recession. Earlier, KC worked for several years in Washington D.C. as an attorney for the U.S. Department of the Interior, focusing on environmental and natural resources law. She earned her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 1996 where she was on Law Review, was a member of the Cornelius Honor Society, and was President of the Publc Interest Law Project. KC recieved her undergraduate degree in government from William and Marry in 1991.

KC lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband Miles, and her two young sons.
